Senior Full-Stack Software Developer

Join a dynamic and innovative healthcare analytics technology company committed to transforming the landscape of healthcare and revenue management for independent physician group practices. We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team and play a pivotal role in assessing, maintaining, and scaling our current systems, while contributing to the development of future iterations. This position will be a great mixture of leadership, project management and vendor management .

Duties and Responsibilities

● Design and implement advanced RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework.

● Collaborate with Executives to identify end-user requirements and specifications.

● Develop robust backend solutions using Django and Python and Craft responsive frontend interfaces with React and/or Vue.js.

● Test and deploy programs and applications.

● Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and improve existing software.

● Compile and assess user feedback to improve software performance.

● Observe user feedback to recommend improvements to existing software products.

● Develop technical documentation to guide future software development projects.

● Work with relational databases, particularly MySQL and PostgreSQL, and ensure data integrity and performance.

● Integrate and manage asynchronous task processing using Celery and Redis.

● Participate in the Docker-based containerization of applications for development and production environments

Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements

● Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or engineering or a related field.

● Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role.

● Familiarity with test-driven development and testing frameworks like Pytest.

● Strong experience with Python and its web frameworks, particularly Django and Flask.

● Knowledge of coding languages and frameworks/systems including Python, JavaScript (React, Vue.js), and Flask.

● Experience with Docker/Kubernetes for containerization. DevOps and strong experience with AWS

● Experience with automated testing (TDD).

● Excellent knowledge of the software development life cycle, with a focus on Django-based web applications. ● Good understanding of algorithms, flow charts and mathematical concepts for the basis for computer programming.

● Proficiency in using and managing PostgreSQL and MySQL databases.

● Familiarity with Celery for asynchronous task processing and Redis for caching.

● Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team.

● Ability to appropriately maintain confidentiality.

● Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word) and EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems. Skills include:

● Frontend Skills: HTML, CSS, VUE.js, ReactJS, AJAX, jQuery.

● Backend Skills: Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Python-Django, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Flask.

● Proficiency in Django REST Framework and familiarity with healthcare data standards like HL7

● Other Technical Skills: Strong understanding of RESTful API development, Web Architecture, Git and GitHub, HTTP and REST protocols, and Database Storage.

● Experience in DevOps practices and containerization: AWS: access management, resource management and provisioning and well as application deployment. Experience with containerization (Docker) and experience of CI/CD tools (Jenkins).

● Experience with Bash Scripting and familiarity with LinuxOs.

● Sysadmin Skills: TCP/IP, SFTP.

● Preferred Skills: HL7, Socket Programming, MFA/Duo, Email/SMS API: Twilio/SendGrid. Experience with Django REST Framework for API development. Comfortable with front-end development using React or Vue.js.
